Review and Pedagogical Synopsis

La novela narra la vida de Ernesto, un adolescente que recorre la sierra peruana junto a su padre. Finalmente llega a un internado en Abancay, donde experimenta conflictos sociales, culturales y personales. A través de su mirada, se muestran las tensiones entre el mundo indígena y el occidental, así como las injusticias sociales. La obra combina elementos autobiográficos con una profunda sensibilidad hacia la cultura andina.
